Local Business Boost Program 2023 Grant Recipient: Rugged Up

Jayne Lemon started Rugged Up in 2017. It is a very unique business where she makes and sells handmade rugs and baskets made from all donated, unusable clothes and fabric. The store also carries art made by locals, also made from reclaimed materials.

LOCAL BUSINESS BOOST PROGRAM NARRATIVE CASE STUDY

Rugged Up
705 Main Street, Hyannis

Jayne sells online, generally, through third-party platforms. Her own website has not been maintained and is no longer accessible to the public. She has struggled to establish a strong online presence through her own website and social media. Additionally, she no longer connects with her branding and feels it doesn’t reflect her or her purpose.

Amanda, knowing all of us personally, knew that this would be a perfect fit pairing me with Mary Catherine and Sara from Two Bloom Creative. She took into consideration my technical inexperience, and supported my vision to bring my brand and selling strategy to another level. Two Bloom Creative went above and beyond my expectations. Every detail is a result of communication and personalization. They really paid attention to everything I was going for and were very patient teaching me to maintain it myself
