Smith Family Popcorn is a gourmet popcorn Company located on Hyannis Main Street, in Mashpee Commons and in Plymouth. What once started as a fun hobby for Dan and his wife Kim in their one-room apartment has developed into a family owned and operated business. Smith family popcorn is a family-friendly popcorn retailer who strives to create lifelong memories for its customers.

Smith Family Popcorn has been undergoing a big renovation of their Hyannis location, and their biggest challenge is the fluctuations in construction cost. It has become difficult to renovate their location because of the increased cost of materials. They are working on a limited budget, to create a space the community will be proud of and used the grant monies to ensure the space was as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
"Although our project far exceeded the grant money, we could not be happier with the assistance in getting the beer garden off the ground."

- Utilize the funds to help with construction costs for site renovations.
COMPLETED PRIORITIES:
- The beer garden is now complete and has helped to change the face of the West end of Hyannis Main Street.
The Local Business Boost Program started in 2022 and is currently a partnership between Love Live Local and the Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District. Additional funding is being sought to take the program to other local businesses across Cape Cod.
