START YOUR DAY AT:
We like to bike along the Cape Cod Canal to the Gray Gables Market  for a cup of coffee and a made to order breakfast sandwich or a fresh baked good.

SPEND YOUR MORNING:
Close by is Gray Gables which is a tucked away picturesque neighborhood that has a beach popular with its residents. Beach stickers are required which is why we like getting to it by bike. Nearby and accessible only by walking or biking is the Mashnee Island causeway, which is a thin stretch of land with beaches on both sides and views of the ship entering and leaving the canal.

GRAB LUNCH AT:
Chart Room for a lobster roll and a mudslide or margarita overlooking the Red Brook Harbor marina.

SPEND YOUR AFTERNOON:
Stop in at Cataumet Fish for the best foodie/fish lover/gift shop...sustainable seafood on Cape Cod. Bourne Conservation Trust has many trails along the water’s edge or cranberry bogs. A favorite is Monk’s Cove for a dog friendly trail that ends on a secluded beach.

INDULGE IN A TREAT AT:
Somerset Creamery is a summer tradition for the whole family.

END YOUR DAY AT:
Lobster Trap for a beautiful sunset on the water and the best Cape Cod food and drinks.

BONUS – HIDDEN GEM OR INSIDER TIP:
A beach hike along the water’s edge called Lawrence Island or Grasslands by locals goes around Squeteague Harbor in Cataumet.
