We are looking for a dedicated, driven, creative and organized individual to join our team as Program Manager. The Program Manager will play a key role in organizing and coordinating projects and initiatives that support and amplify the community-wide impact of our organization, with a specific focus on working with and highlighting local brands and organizations, which involves managing annual events and the organization’s retail store, as well as contributing to content creation for print and digital publications. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Interface with and manage initiatives with local makers and brands
  • Organize and execute three annual Love Local Fests, including vendor communication, event logistics, and volunteer management
  • Manage the Love Live Local retail store, including inventory management, vendor communication, and online order fulfillment
  • Research and create editorial content for publications, including Love Local Field Guide and Gift Guide
  • Research and create editorial content for digital communications, including newsletters and website
  • Attend networking and community-building events on behalf of the organization
  • Provide general administrative support and develop systems for programs and initiative

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2-3 years job experience can substitute
  • Previous experience in event planning; volunteer management is a plus
  • Strong organizational, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite and Google Drive
  • Experience in program management and retail management is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Cape Cod's local businesses and community is a plus


The position will mostly require work on site at the Love Live Local office in Hyannis, with the opportunity to work-from-home on occasion. Additionally, candidates must be available from set-up to breakdown for each Love Local Fest: last Sunday in July, last Sunday in September and the first Saturday in December.

A moderate amount of physical effort is required. Must be able to lift/move 25/50lbs regularly/occasionally. Position requires the ability to operate a keyboard and general office equipment at efficient speed.

Compensation Package:

Annual Salary: $46,000-$50,000
Hours: 35 hours per week


Additional benefits include a telephone stipend, mileage reimbursement, vacation time, sick time, national holidays off, comp time for additional hours worked
