Betsy invested in new jewelry lines this year and needed new display cases for them. Additionally, the shop sits in a high visibility spot on the corner of Barnstable Road and Main Street, and another priority was to enhance the window displays as well as the store frontage with plantings and other elements to bring interest to the area. Betsy also wanted to continue to afford a person to help her with her social media, as it helps to showcase her business and products online.

IDENTIFIED CHALLENGES AND PRIORITIES:

1. Purchase new jewelry cases to showcase new jewelry lines.
2. Engage with a creative designer to help design new window displays and activate the storefront area.
3. Check on Empower Digital application Betsy has already filled out.

COMPLETED PRIORITIES:

1. New jewelry case purchased.
2. Enlisted JPDSGN to develop a merchandising and window display concept that would attract customers, enhance the look of Main Street, Hyannis and make it easy for Betsy to continue to execute in the future.
   1. A new display case was designed and built for the South facing window and decals were designed and printed for the East facing windows creating an eye-catching and bright display for passers-by.
3. Unfortunately Betsy did not received the Digital Empower grant and was unable to continue to develop a social media strategy with a professional.
   

The Local Business Boost Program started in 2022 and is currently a partnership between Love Live Local and the Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District. Additional funding is being sought to take the program to other local businesses across Cape Cod.
