Jen Villa Named Executive Director of Love Live Local, Championing Cape Cod's Small Business Economy
Hyannis, MA – Love Live Local, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to strengthening Cape Cod’s economy and championing the importance of supporting small, local businesses, is excited to announce the appointment of Jen Villa as its new Executive Director.
A dynamic leader in Cape Cod’s small business community for over a decade, Jen has been a driving force behind local economic growth, fueled by her entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and commitment to community advocacy.
Jen’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2009 with the founding of The Little Beach Gallery, a space in Hyannis dedicated to exclusively showcasing local artists. Her passion for cultivating a local-first lifestyle and celebrating Cape Cod's uniqueness led to the co-founding of Love Live Local in 2013, which has grown into an influential nonprofit dedicated to championing Cape Cod’s small business community.
As Love Live Local’s Marketing Director, Jen was the creative force behind the organization’s growth, shaping its voice and visual identity. Through her design work and storytelling, she helped build a strong brand that resonated with the community and local businesses alike. Jen expanded Love Live Local’s impact with initiatives like the Love Local Field Guide and the annual Love Local Fests, both of which have become cherished traditions connecting the community with Cape Cod’s small businesses.
"I am honored to step into the role of Executive Director at Love Live Local," said Jen Villa. "Cape Cod is a community I love and am deeply committed to. As a longtime local business advocate, I’m excited to lead this organization as it continues to foster growth and collaboration, ensuring our small business community stays vibrant and strong."
In addition to leading Love Live Local, Jen co-owns The West End, a year-round restaurant and events venue in Hyannis. As a year-round operator and employer, she understands the challenges small business owners face.
Jen serves on the Hyannis Main Street BID board and is a founding board member of Cape Wellness Collaborative. In 2023, she was named Woman of Impact by the Cape and Islands United Way for her contributions to the community.
