A Perfect Day in Mashpee

Hometown Juice smoothie, a trail walk with the dog, a Californian from Mashpee Market, and Wildfire Pizza with a backyard bonfire to close it out. Sarah's #1 tip: Sprout Farm is a hidden gem — fresh produce and always something unexpected.

Start your day at:

In summer, I love swinging by Hometown Juice in Mashpee Commons for a smoothie -- my go-to is the Hometown Hero with whey -- and enjoying the Commons before the shops open.

Spend your morning:

I take Willie on the long loop at Lowell Holly Conservation off South Sandwich Road -- a beautiful trail through the point between Mashpee and Wakeby Ponds. Just the right distance to feel productive without losing the relaxation.

Grab lunch at:

Mashpee Market is my favorite place to grab a sandwich. Their sandwiches are always on point (I highly recommend the Californian!) Everyone is always so nice and if you're on the go you can call in an order to save time.

Spend your afternoon:

A perfect afternoon: browsing what's new at Ashley Irene Boutique, grabbing my dog a bone at Hot Diggity, then fresh brows and a new lip color at Beauty By Caitlin. On the way home, Sprout Farm in Mashpee is a hidden gem -- fresh produce and always something unexpected in the garden.

Indulge in a treat at:

An iced caramel latte from Cape Cod Coffee (Rt. 130) is my go-to late afternoon treat. I'd eat ice cream every day if I could -- Ghelfi's is my pick if we're already in the Commons, while the kids hit Sweet Waves for candy. Something for everyone!

End your day at:

In the summer to skip the crowds or hang with the kids, pizza to go fromWildfire Pizza with a bonfire and s'mores at home, 10 out of 10. Off season, it's always a toss up between Bleu and Asti depending on the vibe. Both have great food, cocktails, and service.

Bonus -- Hidden Gem or Insider Tip:

Northeast Restaurant Equipment is a hidden gem for practical, high-quality commercial kitchen gear -- mixing bowls to appliances -- at great prices. Friendly, helpful staff and built to last.
