When nominations for a Shop Local Stories business include phrases like “life-changing”, “first-rate”, and “much-needed resource”, we take notice. It seems Nové yoga studio in West Dennis has a very dedicated fan base, and for good reason.

This thriving wellness haven opened during the pandemic and has grown in renown ever since. Known for their ability to go above and beyond for their clientele, Nové has classes for all skill levels, and works hard to provide a flexible schedule for all. They also continue to broaden their offerings with programs like Yoga for Cyclists, and the seasonal Winter Solstice workshop. There is also an extensive online library of classes, health + nutrition tips, recovery exercises, and mindfulness sessions at your fingertips.

Beyond the spacious studio and the warm, welcoming staff is the community outreach and support of local non-profit organizations like We Can and Duffy Health Center, that owner, Jitka Borowick, has built into the foundation of Nové. She also promotes other local businesses and brands by carrying their goods in her studio, including Lune eye pillows (made with lavender from Cape Cod Lavender Farm), Herbs Oils & You, Primabee CBD, and Atlantic Soap to name a few.

It’s clear that Nové and the beating hearts behind the brand believe in supporting their community in more ways than one. Whether you’re a marathoner, walker, seasoned cyclist, weekend golfer, or simply looking to add more movement into your life, this studio has something for you. But more than that, if you want to direct your time, attention, and intention to a business that gives back to other local causes and creators, look no further.

Namaste.

Every month, along with The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod and Cape Cod Broadcasting, we share stories from across Cape Cod about how our local businesses do more for this community than simply provide goods and services and why shopping with them is more than just a single transaction.
