Looking for a night out in the dead of winter? From Falmouth to P’Town there honestly is no shortage of fun and opportunities to hit the dance floor year round. Here are some of our favorite spots to boogie down and warm up those chilly winter nights!
Enjoy a variety of live bands, open mics and karaoke nights at British Beer Company with live music in all of their cape locations including Falmouth, Sandwich and Hyannis. While in Hyannis, check out The West End for their retro DJ dance party every Saturday, or pop by Murphy’s on Main and enjoy weekend performances by bands like Melic Moon and The Silent Trees. Head down Rt. 28 and stop by The Loft and hit the dance floor with bands like The Grab Brothers and Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish.
Cruise to Dennis and take in singer songwriter melodies or some good old-fashioned rock and roll at Harvest Gallery Wine Bar with an impressive weekly music lineup. Enjoy a good pint and boot stompin’ tunes at O’Shea’s Old Inne in West Dennis or a rocking dance floor at the Red Nun Dennis Port with live bands and local musicians performing weekend nights.
Heading further down Cape, the Chatham Squire is always a good night out with weekend dance parties year round. Rock out at the Barley Neck Inn in Orleans with bands like The Rip It Ups and the Catbirds or keep cruising to Wellfleet’s The Well Kitchen + Tavern for fun bands most Saturday nights. Of course, P’Town is always a party so head down Commercial Street and follow the music to see what is open and hopping at this time of year.
Whether you’re looking to cozy up on the couch or have a wild night on the town, Cape Cod in the winter has it for you!
