Wedding Vendor Fund:
a Cape Cod wedding industry + Cape Cod Resilience Fund initiative

The Cape Cod Resilience Fund has teamed up with local wedding industry professionals to raise money for a round of grants specifically for Cape Cod wedding vendors.
So far we have raised:
$3000
The wedding industry brings in $53 million annually Cape Cod and it has been incredibly hard hit by the pandemic. Wedding vendors are currently reporting more than a 75% loss of income. This can and will have lasting impacts on our local economy.
Your wedding vendors are small, independent businesses that need your help to stay alive and be here to bring joy, love and creativity to weddings again.
About the Cape Cod Resilience Fund
Created in response to the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Cape Cod’s small business community, the Cape Cod Resilience Fund was started in April 2020 in order to provide immediate economic relief to the region’s most vulnerable local businesses facing financial hardship due to the economic shutdown and continued slowdown. The Cape Cod Resilience Fund issues one-time grants of $500 to $2,000 to eligible Cape Cod small businesses to supplement day-to-day operational expenses. Visit lovelivelocal.com/resilience to learn more.
All donations to the fund will be tax deductible through the Downtown Hyannis Community Development Corporation (501(c)3 – 83-2583271).
When will grants for the Wedding Vendor Fund be given out?
The goal is to raise money through the month of October in order to have enough funds to help as many of our wedding vendors as possible. Applications will likely open at the beginning of November.
