The holiday shopping season is the perfect time to explore the many Main Streets and locally-owned shops across Cape Cod to find one-of-a-kind gifts that are sure to be a hit at any Yankee Swap or Secret Santa gift exchange. We turned to our CapeMade Field Guide for some holiday shopping inspiration.
Shop locally made and stylish gifts at Wish Gift Co. located both in Sandwich and Mashpee. While in the Commons head over to Hot Diggity (or their location in downtown Dennis Port) for the perfect gift for the dog lover in our life. While on the hunt for the perfect gift for the pups in your life make sure to go to Pawsitive Provisions in Hyannis, next to Summer House Soaps, which is filled with beautifully fragrant gifts. In that same complex, pop into Cape Cod Beer for an incredibly impressive selection of locally made products and gifts and, of course, beer.
Hit up Hyannis Main Street for artwork at Bennett Gallery, stocking stuffers at Kandy Korner or unique and quirky gifts at Allium and Red Fish Blue Fish. Head further down Cape to Dennis’ Salt Yarn Studio for the yarn lover in your life or Dennis Port’s On The Fringe Shop for hipster, vintage gifts.
Cruise to Cape Cod Beach Chair in Harwich for a perfect customized beach chair or shop their store for salty life-inspired gifts and accessories or Harwich Port’s Snow Goose Shops for great locally made finds as well as the perfect hostess gifts. Shoot over to Orleans and visit Adorn or Blake & Co. for stylish home décor, jewelry and gifts.
Head to the outer edges of the Cape stopping at ARTichoke in Eastham for chic styles and locally-made gifts and jewelry. Shop handcrafted jewels at the Jewelry Studio of Wellfleet or adorable pottery (made in-house) at Jobi Pottery In Truro.
Don’t forget to buy from the people you love that contribute tirelessly to our vibrant community!
