It’s certainly not the new kid in town, but we would be remiss if we did not spotlight one of our favorite spots as they prepare to open for their 10th season. Misaki, tucked away in an unassuming building off West Main Street in Hyannis, offers an incredible selection of authentic Japanese cuisine in a cozy, bustling ambiance.
Upon entrance you’ll find the inviting sushi bar with a small set of seats that are often full of regulars and happy guests. Expect to be greeted by owner Karen Butler Terrio and their warm staff hustling behind the bar while you wait for a table. Feeling adventurous? Ask for one of their horigotatsu tables, a type of traditional Japanese seating where you sit on the floor.
Nightly specials are always super fresh and eloquently described by their loyal and experienced waitstaff. Try a Saketini and their Misaki roll made with tuna, salmon, bass, asparagus, cucumber and avocado wrapped in soy paper.
Join them on Feb. 21st as they celebrate the start of their 10th season and don’t forget to make a reservation!
