Cape Cod Chokers began three summers ago on a rainy day when Katie Prchlik, and her daughters Renee and Anna started making jewelry for fun. The trio quickly started selling to their friends and realized they had something special, so they created an online shop. Within a month of their rainy day activity, their chokers were popping up in local Cape boutiques such as Celebrations in Falmouth and The 1856 Country Store in Centerville.
Now, Cape Cod Chokers can be found in over a dozen stores across the Cape (including LoveLiveLocal’s shop in downtown Hyannis!) and South Coast of Massachusetts, and they are even available in a surf shop in Oregon and a small boutique in North Carolina. But the business continues to be a family affair, they all work together designing and creating new pieces, and Katie’s mother, the girls’ grandmother, packages every piece and ships them daily.
These cute necklaces, anklets, and bracelets are designed for “anybody, anywhere, doing anything.” All of their items are 100% unique, their pearls are hand selected, making no two exactly the same. The creators like to think their designs reflect the natural beauty of the Cape, as well as show off the beauty and purity that the pearls exhibit.
If you are looking for a unique staple accessory, be sure to add a piece of the Cape to your wardrobe with any of their adorable pieces!
