Are you ready for the best beach day ever? That’s what the Yellow Dog Music Fest promises for Saturday, September 12 at Craigville Beach in Centerville.
YDMF brings seven talented bands from Berklee College of Music in Boston, including Ghost Pepper, The Interlopers, Kyle Thorton & the Company, and Rudolfo Arteaga & Friends, to Cape Cod for a benefit performance to support the environmental conservation work of Barnstable Land Trust.
The mission of this particular music festival is to celebrate music while in one of the most beautiful natural environments in the word. The founders say that “feeling the impact of music and nature together makes obvious the imperative to preserve our environment, particularly since the nature we all share so clearly intensifies the enjoyment of something we all love – music.” And the Barnstable Land Trust – an organization whose purpose is to preserve open spaces, natural resources and the character of Barnstable for future generations – is the perfect beneficiary of the proceeds of this unique day of music.
The music fest runs from 12 – 9pm, and tickets may be purchased online or on the day of the show (student pricing available).
