#whycapecod

It is no secret that LoveLiveLocal is all about showing the love for Cape Cod, and we are more than happy to talk about those who ALSO show the love. The Cape Cod Chamber has never been quiet about showing off all that the Cape has to offer, and now they are virtually shouting it from the proverbial rooftops, telling the world that our peninsula is a great place to live, work, play and create. This month the regional organization devoted to promoting Cape Cod as a premier destination to travel and do business, have launched the website whycapecod.org, promoting the Cape as a great place to live your life no matter your age or occupation.

“Cape Cod is world renown as a visitor destination, but what is not as widely known is that it is a great place to live and work,” said Congressman William Keating.  “With a growing high speed broadband infrastructure, a famous marine science cluster, and unparalleled recreation and beauty, it is time for Cape Cod to spread the word!”

Along with the great attractions such as beaches, dining and other activities that residents enjoy year round, WhyCapeCod users can find information needed to make a life here, such as real estate, education, healthcare, business resources, volunteering, and arts and culture.

Now that the website has launched, the Cape Cod Chamber is running a social media promotion asking people to share the WhyCapeCod.org website on your own Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #whyCapeCod and post why you love living and working here. IF you do this before March 31, you will be entered for a chance to win a whole year of Cape Cod Beer!
