It’s a local-loving, family affair over at The Talkative Pig in South Chatham, which is (soft) opening tonight (April 2)! Owners Jeff and Terri Mitchell are excited to bring a dream to life by starting their very own restaurant and have the family on board with daughter Amanda helping out with marketing and son Mike managing the bar. Originally from Franklin, the Mitchells are excited to connect with the Cape Cod community and offer us wholesome and delicious Mediterranean-style home cookin’!
Located on Main Street in the space that was once the Box Office Café, The Talkative Pig will offer a farm-to-table menu that is “as locally sourced as possible.” Stocked with local offerings such as Cape Cod Beer and Cape Cod Coffee Roasters, they plan on expanding their local products into a marketplace once they are in full swing. After the official opening, slated for May, expect to find homemade sandwiches, pizzas, entrees and market sides. The front of the house will be great for grab-and-go options, or have a seat in the back dining room and stay awhile.
Beginning tonight, they will be serving pizzas and salads with wine and beer only … so swing by and start talking about The Talkative Pig. Welcome to the neighborhood!
