You be the judge! On Sunday, April 13th Embargo Martinisin Hyannis will host the second annual Aston’s Bloody Mary Mix-Off, a fundraiser for autism support services and awareness, where one local establishment will be crowned purveyor of Cape Cod’s best Bloody Mary! Enjoy a tasting from each featured restaurant, a passed brunch (last year’s was so delicious!), a mimosa bar, and live and silent auctions – and, of course, vote for your favorite Bloody Mary.
Hosted by Embargo’s owners David and Marissa Noble, Aston’s Bloody Mary Mix-Off seeks to raise awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and provide support to a local organization whose services benefit families like the Nobles, whose four-year-old son Aston has Pervasive Developmental Disorder (a form of ASD). All proceeds from the event are donated to Cape Cod Child Development’s Early Intervention Program to support their ongoing services and capital improvements.
Cape Cod Child Development’s Early Intervention Program provides comprehensive developmental assessment and individualized services to eligible infants, toddlers and their families for children up to age 3 who have or are at high risk for a developmental delay, disability or health condition.
This year’s mix-off has garnered support from the Nantucket Natural Blends Company as well as Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the event’s exclusive spirits sponsor. Participating restaurants include:Five Bays Bistro, Yarmouth House, Embargo, Original Gourmet Brunch, Naked Oyster, The Black Cat Tavern, Roadhouse Café, Columbo’s, Ocean House, Seaside Pub, Trader Ed’s, Chapin’s, The Paddock, Scargo Café, Tomatoes Italian Grille, Riverway, Wimpy’s and Pain D’Avignon Café Boulangerie.
Sounds like a perfect spring Sunday to us…we’ll see you there!
