Seasonal Strolls

Cape Cod continues to sparkle in the off season.  Most towns on the Cape bring locals together for Christmas strolls that offer an opportunity to eat, drink and be merry as a community.

Falmouth’s Holiday by the Sea event features caroling at Nobska Lighthouse (12.5), the 3rd Annual Jingle Jog 5K Run & Elf Run, and on Sunday, the 51st annual Christmas Parade.

Highlights of the super family friendly Hyannis Stroll (12.6) include Breakfast with Santa, Santa’s Boat Parade, horse & carriage rides, holiday arts & crafts, a cookie contest among Hyannis businesses and more.

Also this weekend are Christmas in HarwichBrewster for the HolidaysEastham’s Holiday Festival and Toy Drive, Yarmouthport’s Christmas Stroll (12.7), Provincetown’s Holly Folly weekend, a not-so-traditional, totally fun celebration and the quaint Centerville Stroll on Sunday (12.7) evening.

Chatham celebrates their 35th annual event the weekend of Dec. 12 in a scene straight out of Currier & Ives, as do DennisOsterville and Wellfleet, with full days of holiday activities.
