From Woods Hole to Provincetown, just about every music lover knows Sarah Swain and the Oh Boys! If you’re in that silent minority who don’t, now’s the time to get aboard the Cape’s roots, rockabilly, and soul train. The group is releasing their eponymous album on August 20 at Cotuit Center for the Arts at7:30pm with a full bar and a wide open dance floor. Tickets begin at $23 for CCftA members / $28 non-members and additional packages offered include wine or dinner at the Villagio nearby.
Singer/songwriter Sarah has been playing with The Oh Boys – Ron Siegel, Jerry Smith, and Liam Hogg – since 2008; their last release, 2012’s Every Little Bird, focused more on Sarah’s originals and won Album of the Year at the Limelight Magazine Music Awards. While it’s one of our favorite albums, this new release captures the sound of the band we know today – one that rocks the house with vibrant, contagious energy and always a few surprises. It even features a track recorded live at the Cape Cod Cultural Center!
We hope to see you in the crowd on August 20 – if we were betting ladies, we’d say this will sell out so get your tickets today!
