This night of revelry will take place on the back patio of the Cape Cod Maritime Museum overlooking Hyannis Harbor. Attendees can expect to dance to swashbuckling sounds played by DJ Ian Lee, feast on food prepared by Fiddlestix, drink some grog prepared with Twenty Boat Rum and sip on Naukabout Beer, as well as play pirate-themed games. The night will be hosted by local comedian Preston “Captain Flapjack” Simpson. The event runs from 7-10pm and tickets can be purchased for $50. Costumes are encouraged, but fun is definitely required.
All of the money raised will help fund the CCMM’s boat building program for at-risk youth. The Boat Yard Apprentice Certification School enables youths and adults to learn and apply STEM skills with the hands-on, interactive art of building boats. In the program the students also learn maritime skills, through workforce development education, which can lead to entry level employment at local boat yards.
