Mid Cape pet lovers were sad to see Cape Maid Farms close its doors recently after 30 years in business. There’s good news, however – a wonderful new shop has opened nearby to serve our canine, feline, and wild bird needs: Pawsitive Provisions, located on Phinney’s Lane in the same complex as Cape Cod Beer (just off of Route 132 in Hyannis on the way to Barnstable Village).
Striving to be a place where people can find healthy and nutritious foods for their beloved four-legged friends, Pawsitive Provisions believes a healthy pet is a happy pet. They carry a number of high-quality, healthy, natural foods and treats sourced and made in the USA. From standard cans and kibble to the very popular frozen and freeze-dried raw foods, you’ll find an excellent selection.
And, Pawsitive Provisions supports local! You’ll soon be able to find You Do It Suet in the wild bird seed section, as well as “farm to treat” organic, grain-free dog treats and handmade dog collars from Red Dogs & Co. Best of all? Pawsitive Provisions will be open during Cape Cod Beer’s 2017 Yappy Hours, so you can bring yourself for a pint and your pup for a treat!
