After an awesome LoveLocal Fest :: Locals’ Edition, we are ready to fully embrace the fall season here on Cape Cod in all its sweater weather glory!

  • How about a “Sea to Screen” evening at Coonamessett Farms presented by the Woods Hole Film Festival – watch “Sustaining Sea Scallops” with a Q&A to accompanied by a delicious meal featuring Atlantic sea scallops, locally caught fish and vegetables harvested from the farm! {10.9; 6pm}
  • Time to close out summer … for REAL this time … head to Terra Luna’s season finale, all-you-can-eat bonanza featuring The Sacred Mounds! {10.10; 5-11pm}
  • Join the 2nd annual Miles for Meghan 5K in Cotuit to raise money and awareness for Cystic Fybrosis – sign up early and get a long-sleeved tee! {10.15; 11am}
  • Oyster lovers rejoice! The 16th annual Wellfleet OysterFest is a highlight for visitors and locals alike featuring music, food, local artisans, and an overall awesome time {10.15-16} … can’t make it all the way down Cape or just want more?   • The first Hyannis Open Streets was a huge success so it’s happening again! Come on down to play in the streets and enjoy Hyannis. {10.23; noon – 4pm}

  • Party for a whole bunch of great local causes at the annual Nauset Disposal Trash Bash! Bring food and clothing donations and enjoy awesome food, The Grab Brothers and more. {10.21; 5:30-11pm}
  • Shop and spook local at Hyannis Main Street’s annual Safe Trick or Treat!{10.31; 4-6pm}

And – Save the date for our LoveLocal Fest :: Holiday Edition! We’re thrilled to announce that the wild popularity of the prior two events means that we need a bigger venue … so we’re packing up the Cape Cod Beer trailer and bringing it over to the Cape Cod Community Media Center in Dennis (just minutes from Route 6) on Sunday, December 4 from noon to 5pm! Don’t worry – we’re working out parking plans and the games will be on in a dedicated space!
