Walking into the Cape’s newest yoga studio, Evoke, you are magically transported from the hustle and bustle of Hyannis into an oasis of beauty and serenity.
Evoke is the vision of Jessica Riley-Norton and Michelle Toczko, two local yogis with impeccable style and a shared mission to create a welcoming sanctuary for the local yoga community and beyond. Riley-Norton is the creator of the popular jewelry line Aum Malas with a background in interior design and Toczko owns Vintage Flowers of Osterville, so together they make quite the team.
The studio, which opened Memorial Day weekend, is unique in that it will offer Bikram classes (a type of heated yoga with specific postures) in addition to restorative, yin, vinyasa, hatha, family yoga and meditation. The schedule will continue to evolve as Evoke settles into their space – stay tuned for unique workshops, a beginner’s series, and a book club.
A Hyannis location was important to Riley-Norton and Toczko as they wanted to evoke (yes!) positive change and “raise the vibration” of the Hyannis community by offering opportunities for growth, self-love, and connections to one another.
