Cape Cod Women’s Association

As hard-working lady entrepreneurs we have an affinity for fierce and empowered women, especially ones making a difference in our local community which is why we are so excited about the newly formed Cape Cod Women’s Association.

CCWA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring together women to build relationships professionally and personally, through networking, education and personal development. CCWA was founded by former members of the Cape Cod Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) who were looking for a more affordable and locally focused networking organization for Cape Cod women.

Over the years, the local chapter of ABWA has awarded more than $85,000 in scholarships and grants to local women and non-profits. CCWA plans to carry on this tradition by raising funds, managed by Cape Cod Foundation, at their monthly meetings and special events.

Meetings will be held the second Tuesday of the month, with networking starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Each meeting features a guest speaker, member spotlight and networking opportunities. Members are encouraged to bring information about their business to display.

Don’t miss CCWA’s inaugural meeting on March 14th at the Doubletree in Hyannis!

I am a part-time resident property owner in Brewster. I am also an attorney whose real estate litigation practice is primarily in Southeastern Mass. (Bristol and Plymouth Counties) with a few Barnstable County matters. I would love to meet other entrepreneurial women on the Cape.
