lavenderWhy escape to Provence when you can experience the beauty of lavender fields right here?  The harvest has just begun at Cape Cod Lavender Farm in Harwich, but it is short lived so you will want to head over in early July to enjoy the fresh bunches of this lovely, fragrant, stress-relieving plant.

Located on 12 acres tucked into conservation land, Cape Cod Lavender farm is one of the largest on the East Coast. Owners Cynthia and Matthew Sutphin started the farm in 1995, and have grown it steadily since then to include a large variety of plants, loose lavender buds, and a range of home and beauty products. They even have homemade products safe for babies and dogs!

The farm is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Sunday, 12pm to 4pm. You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for news about the harvest and more!
