The Cape has a rich history of artists, dating back to the early part of the 20th century. In 1899 Charles W. Hawthorne opened the Cape Cod School of Art in Provincetown and taught the Impressionist en plein air (outdoors) style on the beach. Over the many years, artists and creative minds have continued to call Cape Cod their home, whether they arrived here as such or were transformed into artists, inspired by our breathtaking vistas.
Fortunately for all of these incredibly talented artists (and us buyers), there are plenty of opportunities to showcase their work. Here are some of our picks for the 2018 season that are accepting applications now!
