All Hallows’ Eve Guide {for the grown-ups!}

Kids don’t get to have all the fun celebrating Halloween, as there are plenty of spooky things for adults to do across the Cape.

A week before the big day on October 24, the Big Collage Art Collective, a group that promotes an alternative arts community across the Cape is presenting an evening of “silent horror and garage surf rock” when the Inframen take the stage at Cape Cinema in Dennis when they compose and original score for Robert Weine’s classic horror film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

On October 26, the Cotuit Center for the Arts is hosting their 13th Annual Arts & Souls Masquerade Ball. The theme of evening, which starts at 7:30pm, is “Revenge of the Reruns” and people are invited to dress up as their TV favorite character from “nights gone by.” The night promises to be plenty of music and dancing throughout the evening, with a DJ offering up favorite tunes in all genres.

Looking for something a little more low-key? Head to Commercial Street in Provincetown for the Ghost Town Haunted Attraction. Meet at the Aquarium Mall, between 7 and 11pm, October 25 – November 2, and prepare yourself for a journey through condemned buildings, pirate ruins and scary grave sites, as you encounter terrifying creatures of the living dead.
On the 31st, after finding the perfect costume at Wicked Thrift in South Yarmouth and South Dennis, Nelly’s Suits You on Route 132 in Hyannis, or Plush and Plunder in Hyannis, make your way to local nighttime hotspots, like Embargo where the atmosphere is always exciting and inventive costumes always rewarded.
