Osterville will show some serious love for chocolate this Saturday, February 7, during its 10th Annual Chocolate Fest.
The event includes a chocolate cupcake tasting at Amie Bakery, as well as raffles, sales and other treats at Bedroom I’s Boutique, J. McLaughlin, Mulberry Corners, In the Pink, and Oyster Island Emporium.
There are plenty of events for children including a family scavenger hunt and valentine making at Pocket Full of Posies, and crafts at Osterville Village Library. Also at the library: chair massages by Moon Tide Massage and, for the family pups, a dog parade beginning at 11am (festive costumes encouraged).
For you bakers out there, enter your tastiest chocolate creation into the annual Dessert Contest, and compete for Best in Show, Most Decadent, Best Presentation, and new this year, Heart Healthy. There is also a category for kids 12 and under. Desserts will be sold after the winners are announced, and the proceeds will benefit the Hyannis Food Pantry.
Festivities start at 10am, so show up with an empty stomach and prepare for a sugar coma by day’s end.
